PLN Energi Gas Enhances Emergency Preparedness Through Disaster Response Training

Jakarta, 20 September 2024 – To raise awareness and preparedness for emergency situations, particularly natural disasters such as earthquakes, PT PLN Energi Gas (PLN EG) participated in emergency response training held from September 17 to 19, 2024. This initiative is part of the company’s commitment to ensuring the safety of all employees and the continuity of operations within PLN EG’s service areas.

The three-day training aimed to build capacity and improve rapid response to situations that could potentially endanger PLN EG’s service areas. During the training, participants gained an in-depth understanding of disaster mitigation measures, earthquake response simulations, and effective emergency communication strategies.

“Preparedness for natural disasters is a top priority for PLN EG. Through this training, we hope all employees will be more alert and well-trained in handling emergency situations, thereby minimizing risks to the company’s safety and operations,” said Algifari, HSE Manager.

In addition to technical training, this activity also emphasized the importance of coordination among teams within the company as well as collaboration with external parties such as the Fire Department and other relevant agencies. The goal is to create an integrated and effective response to natural disasters.

This training is part of PLN EG’s ongoing efforts to instill a culture of workplace safety and emergency response across all operational lines.
