PLN Energi Gas Strengthens Commitment to Workplace Safety and Integrity Through Vendor Gathering & Implementation of CSMS 2025
Jakarta, 23 September 2024 – PLN Energi Gas successfully held the Vendor Gathering & Implementation of the Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) 2025, a strategic event to strengthen synergy and ensure the implementation of workplace safety, integrity, and anti-bribery standards for all business partners.
The event was attended by the Board of Directors of PLN Energi Gas, business partners/vendors, and relevant stakeholders. The event began with a solemn ceremonial program, including the singing of the national anthem “Indonesia Raya” and a joint prayer, as a sign of respect and hope for the smooth and successful execution of the entire agenda.
In their remarks, the PLN Energi Gas Board of Directors emphasized that workplace safety and integrity are not merely a matter of formal compliance, but fundamental values that must be embedded in every operational activity. Through clear communication and the implementation of well-defined systems, the company and its partners share the responsibility for maintaining the highest standards in the field.
One of the main agenda items at this gathering was the dissemination of information regarding the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) and the Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS). SMAP was promoted as part of efforts to strengthen clean and corruption-free corporate governance, while CSMS was introduced as a systematic occupational safety standard that must be adhered to by all vendors involved in the PLN Energi Gas project.
To ensure that the theory didn’t stop at the presentation, participants also engaged in hands-on practice filling out the CSMS application. This was a concrete and innovative step, leveraging a digital platform so that the workplace safety system can be monitored and implemented in an integrated and effective manner.
The highlight of the event included the signing of a joint commitment between PLN Energi Gas and all its business partners. This commitment covers aspects of safety, occupational health, and the prohibition of bribery, as tangible proof that these values form the foundation of every collaboration.
