Bengkalis, Riau, September 18, 2025 \u2013 <\/b>PLN Energi Gas and PLN Nusantara Power have once again demonstrated their commitment to supporting community empowerment in the areas surrounding their operations. Through their Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, the two companies launched SAJI FARM (Cattle and Green World Farm) in Balai Pungut Village, Pinggir Subdistrict, Bengkalis Regency, Riau, located within Ring 1 of the Duri CNG Combined Cycle Power Plant (PLTMG) project.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

The SAJI FARM program provides assistance in the form of cattle barn construction and training on the development of locally sourced livestock feed. This initiative is designed to reduce production costs while increasing the productivity of cattle farming businesses, thereby strengthening the community\u2019s economy in a sustainable manner.<\/p>\n\n

As a key part of this activity, PLN invited a guest speaker from the Faculty of Animal Science at Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Dr. Bramada Winiar Putra, S.Pt., M.Si. He emphasized the importance of innovation in utilizing local resources. \n<\/p>\n\n

\u201cThis program is not just about facilities, but also about knowledge. By utilizing local resources, farmers can reduce costs while increasing productivity,\u201d said Bramada. \n<\/p>\n\n

On behalf of the company, PLN Energi Gas also shared its perspective on the importance of this collaboration. \n<\/p>\n\n

Ms. Elok Faiqoh Saptining Ratri, Corporate Secretary of PLN Energi Gas, stated:<\/span>\u201cThis collaboration is a tangible manifestation of PLN\u2019s commitment to supporting community self-reliance, particularly in the livestock sector. We want PLN\u2019s projects not only to generate electricity but also to bring direct benefits to the community.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n

A similar sentiment was expressed by PLN Nusantara Power. Their involvement serves as evidence of the synergy among PLN entities in fostering community self-reliance.<\/p>\n\n

Mr. Amirul Akbar Rosadi, TL K3KL at PLN Nusantara Power, added:<\/span>\u201cWe hope the SAJI FARM program can serve as a model for sustainable economic development around the project. Synergy among companies, academics, and the community is the key to this program\u2019s success.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Appreciation came not only from the company and academics but also from the village government. The Balai Pungut Village Government views this program as an appropriate step toward improving residents\u2019 well-being. \n<\/p>\n\n

The Secretary of Balai Pungut Village stated:<\/span>\u201cWe would like to express our gratitude to PLN. This assistance is very beneficial for the people of Balai Pungut, especially for the cattle farmers who are the backbone of our village\u2019s economy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Through this initiative, PLN Energi Gas and PLN Nusantara Power reaffirm that the purpose of electricity projects is not only to provide energy but also to bring vitality to the community. \n<\/p>\n\n
