With Three Awards at Once, the PLN EPI Group Demonstrates Operational Excellence at the 2026 Indonesia Electricity Awards
Jakarta, 24 April 2026 – PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia (PLN EPI), along with its two subsidiaries, PT PLN Energi Gas and PT Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna, successfully won three awards at once at the prestigious 2026 Listrik Indonesia Awards, held at the Mulia Senayan Hotel in Jakarta on Wednesday (April 22). This achievement underscores the strength of the PLN EPI Group’s synergy in building an integrated, reliable, and sustainable primary energy ecosystem.
At the event, PLN EPI received the “Excellence in Primary Energy Management & Transition” award, a recognition of the company’s success in managing the primary energy supply chain in an integrated manner while supporting the national energy transition agenda.
PLN EPI’s Corporate Secretary, Mamit Setiawan, stated that this award is the result of the company’s consistent commitment to implementing operational excellence across the entire primary energy supply chain.
“This award recognizes our efforts to ensure the reliability of primary energy supply through integrated, efficient operational excellence grounded in strong governance,” said Mamit.
He emphasized that the PLN EPI Group continues to strengthen its primary energy management system from procurement and transportation to utilization, to maintain the stability of the national electricity supply amid global dynamics.
“We ensure that every process runs optimally and adapts to the challenges and demands of the transition toward cleaner and more sustainable energy,” he added.
PLN EPI Subsidiaries Also Achieve Success
In addition to PLN EPI, two subsidiaries of the PLN EPI Group also received awards in recognition of their outstanding performance in their respective business lines. PT Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna (BAg) was named “A Reliable and Sustainable Primary Energy Transportation Company,” while PT PLN Energi Gas received the “Leading Commitment to Reliable, Sustainable, and Transparent Operations” award.
These achievements underscore the strength of the PLN EPI Group’s synergy in building an integrated, reliable, and sustainable primary energy ecosystem—from primary energy transportation to natural gas management.
Herman Darnel Ibrahim, Chair of the Expert Council for Listrik Indonesia Magazine, stated in his remarks that the Listrik Indonesia Award serves as a form of appreciation for industry players who are able to drive innovation while ensuring the sustainability of the energy sector.
“This event not only presents awards but also serves as a reflection of the energy industry’s strategic role in supporting Indonesia’s economic growth and energy transition,” he said.
He added that this year’s awards focused on companies that not only excel in innovation but also demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability and industry collaboration.
