Management Conducts Site Visit to the Tanjung Batu Gas Pipeline and Monitors Logistics Plans for Pipe Delivery for the Bali Gas Pipeline Construction Project

Tanjung Batu, 5 December 2025 – Management of PT PLN Energi Gas conducted a site visit to the Tanjung Batu Gas Pipeline on December 4–5, 2025, as a strategic step to ensure the reliability of gas infrastructure while strengthening technical coordination in the field. The event was attended by the Director of Operations of PT PLN Energi Gas and the President Director of Pelayanan Energi Batam.

The purpose of this field visit was to conduct direct monitoring of the gas pipeline’s operational conditions, including a comprehensive evaluation of the infrastructure’s technical condition, potential risks, and the system’s readiness to support the reliability of gas supply. This activity also served as a crucial opportunity to strengthen synergy and coordination among stakeholders in the management of strategic gas infrastructure.

As part of the same series of activities, management also monitored the progress of the Additional Gas Pipeline Construction Project as well as the logistics plan for delivering pipes for the Bali gas pipeline construction project, which will support the Bali Power Generation System. This project has shown significant progress and plays a crucial role in accelerating the distribution of clean and reliable energy in the Bali region to support sustainable electricity generation needs.

This monitoring is conducted to ensure the readiness of the gas pipeline network for integration with existing systems, thereby optimally supporting the energy needs of both the industrial sector and the public.

The combination of these two strategic initiatives underscores the commitment of PT PLN Energi Gas and its partners to providing a safe, efficient, and sustainable energy supply, in line with the national energy transformation agenda and efforts to enhance the reliability of energy infrastructure across various regions of Indonesia.
