A Step Toward Becoming a Global Company: PLN Energi Gas Strengthens Internal Synergy Through “Ngopi Yuk”
Jakarta, 16 December 2025 – PT PLN Energi Gas (PLN EG) held a strategic event titled “Ngopi Yuk: Let’s Chat About Inspiration and Collaboration!” as part of its corporate culture transformation. This event represents a concrete step toward aligning internal strengths to realize the company’s grand vision: “To Be The Top-of-Mind Global Company in Gas Infrastructure Solutions.”
In Human Resources practice, intangible outcomes are an integral part of the process. Most HR initiatives, ranging from talent management and performance system design to strengthening a culture of collaboration, require time and a gradual process before they yield tangible impacts on business performance, whether in the form of increased revenue, cost efficiency, or improved cross-team collaboration.
With this in mind, an Employee Engagement enhancement program was held this December, scheduled to coincide with the in-person Code of Conduct (CoC) session. The “Ngopi Yuk” program served as a platform for cross-departmental pairing, allowing teams to express appreciation, provide constructive feedback, and agree on concrete commitments for improvement.
The event was attended in person by Mr. Edwin Bangun, Acting CEO of PT PLN Energi Gas, Ms. Rahmi A. Harahap, Acting Director of Finance and Human Resources at PT PLN Energi Gas, and the entire E-Generations team.
The main session of the event involved an exchange of appreciation and aspirations among divisions, during which each team outlined concrete actions and provided feedback on other divisions. The goal was to break down organizational silos and create more efficient and innovative workflows.
