The company was first established under the name PT PLN Geothermal.
2014
PT PLN Geothermal ceased operations.
2017
PT PLN Geothermal changed its name to PT PLN Gas & Geothermal, in line with the addition of a new portfolio or business line in the gas infrastructure sector.
2020
Completion of 2 (two) major projects:
– The 48.3 km Tanjung Batu Gas Pipeline Gasification Project with a 16” pipe diameter in Samarinda.
– The Sulawesi FSRU Project for the Gasification of the Lease Marine Vessel Power Plant (LMVPP) Karadeniz Powership Zeynep Sultan 120 MW in Amurang.
2021
Assignment for the mobilization of the Floating Storage & Regasification Unit (FSRU) Amurang to PLTG Marisa Gorontalo.
2023
PT PLN Gas & Geothermal underwent a change in its business line and name and is now known as PT PLN Energi Gas. The decision to change the company’s name and business line was made by the shareholders through a circular resolution outside of the General Meeting of Shareholders.
2026
PLN Energi Gas successfully completed the Tarakan LNG Storage and Regasification Facility project.
