PT. PLN Energi Gas has successfully built 48.3 Km Tanjung Batu Gas Pipeline Gasification Project in Samarinda, East Kalimantan on December 31, 2020. And now PT PLN Energi Gas is operating the pipeline and its gas terminal to connect to power plants.
The aim of this project is to replace HSD (that was once being used) and reduce the basic cost of electricity. The projection of saving for PLN could reach up to IDR 1.17/year or 68.1 Million USD/year.
